HacksawTM for OS/2 and Windows 95/NT - a new must-have for anyone who maintains a web site, emails to mailing lists or downloads software. Hacksaw takes FTP to a new level of simplicity and sophistication. Imagine updating your site with a single command. Hacksaw can retrieve web pages and other web-based files using the HTTP protocol. It can send email messages to a single address or to an entire mailing list through an SMTP server. It can retrieve, count, and delete any or all messages waiting for you on a POP3 mail server. Read about it. BTW: We wish to extend a special thank you to our many beta testers.
A Java version of Post Road MailerTMis in the works for all platforms. We are expecting to start rolling out alpha and beta code mid-summer. This will be the most feature-rich email client on the market -- and the easiest to use. That it will be 100% pure Java means that it will run under OS/2, Windows 95/NT, UNIX, and many other platforms. If you want to keep informed about this product write to Marianne Roderus and ask to be placed on our Java email list. Marianne can be reached by writing to innoval@ibm.net. A 100% pure Java version of HACKSAW TMis also under development. Please see the press release. Anyone interested in testing, should send an email to hackbeta@innoval.com. Please indicate your Java-enabled operating system platform(s). Hacksaw for Java will require the JDK 1.1. The beta code will be available first, in June, to all customers who use the Windows/95, Windows/NT and OS/2 versions of HACKSAW. Users of other platforms should write to hackbeta@innoval.com to request additional information about beta code availability.
