From this area you can download pre-release edition of Freelance Graphics 96 for OS/2 Warp, Lotus' next-generation presentation graphics software for OS/2 Warp. This Lotus Pre-Release is made available for your evaluation purposes only, since there remain a few areas where finishing-touches are required prior to the product's final release (see the Release Guide found on the download page for additional information). As such, no warranty or support is provided and the software is not recommended for production use.

The Freelance Graphics 96 Pre-Release will only install on OS/2 Warp V3. The final shipping version of Freelance Graphics 96 for OS/2 Warp will install on either OS/2 Warp V3 or OS/2 Warp V4.

To install the Pre-Release on OS/2 Warp V3 you must first install IBM FixPak 23 "Special Edition" (only available for download from this site - not available from IBM and not the same as the standard edition of FixPak 23) on an American English Language edition of OS/2 Warp. An updated FixPak for OS/2 Warp V3 which will install on national language editions of OS/2 Warp V3 will be available at the time Freelance Graphics 96 for OS/2 Warp ships.

System Requirements: Below are the minimum system requirements for installing Freelance Graphics 96 Pre-Release for OS/2 Warp:

• A North American English Edition of OS/2 Warp V3
• IBM FixPak 23 "Special Edition" (only available on this Web site)
• IBM Compatible 486-DX2 66Mhz or higher (Pentium recommended)
• 16Mb RAM (24 Mb recommended)
• OS/2 Compatible CD-ROM drive
• VGA or higher resolution graphics card
• Mouse (optional, but highly recommended
• The following amount of disk space:
  - 23 Mb for IBM FixPak 23 Special Edition installation
  - 20 (minimum) to 57 (maximum) Mb for Freelance Graphics 96 Pre-Release for OS/2 Warp installation
  (Subtract approx. 6 Mb from the FixPak installation requirement if you have installed a previous FixPak on OS/2 Warp V3.)

Note: The IBM FixPak 23 Special Edition and Freelance Graphics 96 Pre-Release are designed to be installed directly from a local or network-attached hard disk drive. As such, in addition to the disk space required for installation (listed above) you must have adequate hard disk space available to download and expand the compressed images of each software package.
