I have a Dualstor and an Iomega Tape 250 Insider and have this attached to the floppy port on the Promise controller. This initially gave me errors with DMA overruns but I've fixed this by altering the DEVICE line in CONFIG.SYS to read

DEVICE=E:\DUALSTOR\IP22DRV.SYS iropt=dX

where the capitalisation of the parameter is important. With this in place I get backup speeds of ~8Mb/min from my tape drive.
