    I got my copy of PTI1S506.ADD from the Promise Web site where it's a file called WARP_10.ZIP and it contains a copy of the ADD dated 10-08-95 1.00a. It reports itself as "Copyright 1995 Promise Technology, Inc. All Rights Reserved OS/2 WARP ST-506/IDE/ATAPI Driver V1.0"

    This version of the ADD seems to have corrected the problem with INI files and HPFS drives. I've been running my test OS/2 system on it for the last week with my INI files on the boot drive. I've shutdown and rebooted numerous times and had one complete freeze of the system and subsequent auto-CHKDSK of all 1.5Gb of disk space with no INI file problems.
