Neil started in the industry nine years ago as a programmer and producer with Imagitec, a small UK development company, working on platform conversions for Electronic Arts, ORIGIN, Microprose and Mindscape. In 1990 he joined Probe Software as a Senior Producer and worked on many titles for Acclaim, Sega, Hudson, USGold and Virgin Interactive. Since 1992 he has worked in the U.S. at Virgin, most recently as VP, Product Development. During his tenure, he has provided business and production leadership in both the internal and external title development and publishing units. Neil took on his new role at ORIGIN in June of 1997.
Chris started in the industry at Westwood Studios in 1988 as a programmer and rose to the position of VP, Research & Development. During that time Chris worked on many titles, including Eye of the Beholder, Lands of Lore and the Kyrandia series. When Westwood was acquired in 1992 by Virgin, Chris began to take a broader role in the parent company, and in 1994, completed the transition by joining Virgin as VP, Technology & Operations. He provided technology leadership for internal development and most recently was responsible for running Virgin's Online business unit. Chris became VP and CTO at ORIGIN in June of 1997, and with Neil Young, co-manages the ORIGIN Studio.
At ORIGIN, Mike Grajeda oversees the day to day operations of product
development, studio operations, finance and administration. He
transferred to ORIGIN from Electronic Arts in 1993 to serve as the
Director of Finance. Since then, he has served as Chief Operating
Officer of Origin as well as Chief Operating Officer of the
Entertainment division of Electronic Arts. Mike joined Electronic Arts
in 1989 and held various finance positions until he transferred to

Alex Carloss joined ORIGIN in February of 1996, bringing with him a
world of experience in entertainment marketing. Starting his career in
advertising, Alex then joined Buena Vista (Walt Disney) Home Video in
London, England, rising to Marketing Manager. In 1992, Alex relocated
to Melbourne, Australia, where he helped establish a new Buena Vista
Home Entertainment subsidiary, in the role of National Marketing
Manager. Most recently, he served as the Director of Marketing for
Warner Home Video in Los Angeles, and was responsible for sell-through

Richard Garriott (a.k.a. "Lord British") pioneered computer gaming with
his release of Akalabeth in 1979. That led to the highly acclaimed and
award-winning ULTIMA® series, one of the highest-grossing single product
lines in the history of entertainment software. In addition to Richard's
great domestic success, the ULTIMA software series has become a genuine
sensation internationally. Record sales levels have been achieved in
Japan, where the ULTIMA world and characters have spawned many other
products, including children's cartoons, comic books, novels and popular
songs. The ULTIMA line has been developed for U.S. distribution on
Super NES, GAME BOY and Sega systems. Richard also receives
international attention for his interactive, full-contact haunted house,
which he stages inside and around his west Austin mansion. Richard
serves as an Executive Producer for the Electronic Arts organization.
Andy Hollis is another true pioneer in entertainment software. As a
founding member of MicroProse Software, he designed and programmed many
of that company's top flight simulations, including Mig Alley, Kennedy
Approach, Gunship, F-19 Stealth Fighter, F-15 Strike Eagle II and F-15
Strike Eagle III, as well as the science-fiction titles Lightspeed and
Hyperspeed. His programming expertise covers multiple computer
platforms. Andy joined ORIGIN in 1993 to launch a new line of military
simulations. His first product, AH-64D Longbow, a premier helicopter
flight sim, is being released under the Janes Combat Simulations Brand.
The brand is a result of a licensing agreement between Electronic Arts,
ORIGIN and Janes Information Group, the worlds leader in defense
publications.
