WWII Combat Simulator.

This is one great program for all of those armchair generals. The interface
resembles Warcraft only in purpose, the rest is modified to the extreme.
You are either an Allied or German commander giving orders to your troops.
You can monitor individual soilders or units. Keep an eye on morale,
though, because if your troops don't like your orders, they may try their
own strategies. Also, beware the state of panic soilders can get themselves
into when they're under stress. They may start doing some crazy and stupid
things. You get a zoomable bird's eye view of the battle and the terrain.
Use bushes and trees for cover but be careful, it may cost you the war!
Single battle or campaign situations available. 'Boot Camp' helps keep the
learning curve to a minimum. Lots of action keeps you busy and artificial
intelligence keeps you interested. Full version networkable for 2-player
head-to-head play only.
