Freddi Fish is polite and brave, she respects grown-ups and is eager to help those in need. She always tries to do what’s right and is not afraid to confront someone who is doing something wrong. That’s partly what makes her such a great detective. Also aiding in her sleuthful prowess are a sharp eye for detail, great problem-solving skills and a lot of patience.

Freddi Fish’s best friend Luther is sometimes a little goofy, but she loves him like a brother. Luther is everything Freddi is not. He’s silly, impulsive and pretty clumsy. He loves to play and as a result, he doesn’t always think things through. Luther loves being in the spotlight and may even take credit for things without thinking about Freddi’s involvement. It’s not always easy, but Freddi always manages to convince him to do the right thing. He adores Freddi and hopes that one day fish will look up to him and give him the respect that Freddi has earned.

As far as favorites go, Freddi loves to learn and school is lots of fun for her. Freddi Fish also likes to read and snack on Grandma Grouper’s World Famous Peanut Butter & Jellyfish sandwiches. Luther likes school but he’s the class clown. He prefers to spend time playing with his Codfish Commando Action figure, trying to swim loop-de-loops, making funny faces and gulping down delectable chocolate covered worm doodles.
