iNES is the big cheese of all Mac NES emulators. Version 1.0 has DiskSystem support, Vs. Unisystem Support, and improved compatibility over previous versions. Using a PowerPC assembly core, iNES runs at full or nearly full speed on any PowerPC-based Mac.

NesMAC runs only mapper 0 games, but it runs them quite well if there's no scrolling. Also, it only accepts small (16k/32k) ROM images. This is an early release, but it has sound. |
