Silhouette is supposedly a product of internal Nintendo research. When it came out, it had almost perfect emulation (sans SuperFX and other goodies). Version 1.0 is the only version ever released. It plays a great amount of games, but is slightly slower than SNES9x. Worth the download. |

SNES9x is the best SNES emulator for Mac, and is probably the most used non-MAME emulator in the world. SNES9x is fast and has very good (90%+) game compatability. It also has SuperFX support, partial DSP1 support and NetPlay! If you need the Appearance Manager, NetSprocket, InputSprocket, or Navigation Services, go here.
