from the editor

This incarnation of Mochi Balls wouldn't have been possible without the labor of a few people. Chiefly among the saints was Joe Lin, our associate editor. Joe was instrumental in the look of the newsletter. Collaborating with Joe resulted in a cleaner and leaner look.

I'm grateful also to those who have written. Thanks to Paul Matsumura for a fine coming out story. Thanks to Kieu-Anh and Paul Louey for their thoughtful reports from San Francisco and Miami respectively. Tom Gamble wrote about living in a world of AIDS. He ponders an important question--what would it be like to love someone and not have to worry about the spectre of the virus? Joe himself wrote about the formation of Queer & Asian as a group. And there are other stories as well!

Read the articles and if you have comments about what you see, drop us a line. Page two has details on how to reach us. Welcome to Mochi Balls #3!
