Subject: [BRIGADE] ALERT: NC Prayer, Victory, and Onward
Dear Brigade,
It was prayer and the hard work of the Brigades that brought us a victory
in the battle for ballot access in North Carolina. Now we are about to
capture the next hill -- this time at the NC Reform Party Convention.
All NC Brigades are on duty June 17th in Charlotte. See email below
from Diane Haas and pass the word across North Carolina!

PS -- Just so you know, the Old Guard in NC didn't lift a finger to get the
RP or Pat ballot access. Guess they were too busy writing anti-
Buchanan emails on their email reflector.

Dear Linda,
Victory! How sweet it is!! Ballot access achieved! Thank you Brigades for
a job well done.
I marvel at the power of prayer that brought 100 Brigaders into NC in our
11th hour petitioning crisis. We prayed together and then fanned out
across the state, relentless in our pursuit of our daily signature totals.
We met so many terrific people ..."love them , one at a time". I would
play "Man of La Mancha" for the troops en route to our locations, and it
became our theme song "Onward to glory we go"!!
And when we had rough days, our determination got stronger...after all,
look to what lengths our Pat goes, what he sacrifices on a daily basis!
Occasionally someone would suggest to us that we just sue the
state...let Ralph Nader sue the state; we didn't have time for that... we
were busy doing the work that paid off with the Reform Party on the
ballot!
Our next hurdle comes on June 17th when we have our NC State Reform
Party Convention. We've earned our place in the party, and Pat
Buchanan needs us to be there. He will be; will you?
Please email or call me and let me know you're ready to ride to the
sound of the guns!
For the Cause,
Diana Haas
