Subject: [BRIGADE] PJB Road Rallies! - Ring the Bells!

Dear Brigade,

This is a GREAT idea -- and I know it works because we did
something similar in 1992 for Perot and 1996 for Pat. We
called them "Road Rallies" And they are a heckuva lot of FUN!

Pass the word and also give Don your comments and
suggestions.

Campaign

Dear Linda,

Attached is a letter I sent to Bay, Tim Haley and Kara at
Buchanan Reform Headquarters. I'm hoping to get their
support and input. I thought you might be interested in this as
well and maybe getting it out to the Brigade. Our Western
Division Chairmen came up with the idea and is working quite
successfully in the Kansas City area.

Give me a call or e-mail should you have any suggestions,
comments, and questions.

As always thank you for all your hard work and great
information we receive daily.

I look forward to the opportunity of meeting you at the
convention in Long Beach.

Sincerely,
Don R. Griffin

Dear Bay and Tim,

Re: Ring the Bells and Tell the People
(Crack the Anti- Buchanan Media Shield)

Ray Cherry, Western Missouri Division Chairman, has
developed an excellent way of letting people know of Pat's
campaign. He simply holds a yard sign in very high traffic
count area's throughout the major intersections of Kansas City
Missouri.

Ray has this thoroughly organized with a map color coded for
the highest traffic count, dates, responses, and a schedule for
the next intersections he wants to hit. He also has a smaller
sign attached, "To volunteer call phone 327-5000".

He then immediately picks up the calls on his cell phone.
Better that we have an office phone with two or three phone
lines to accept volunteer calls plus an answering message .

This thing works great. Why not do this on a national scale?
Select a specific date, where the entire country, on signal, turn
out Pat volunteers in as many major city intersections as we
can possibly find. We could repeat this as often as we had
manpower.

This will work best where we have volunteers stationed at
quarter-mile intervals, six or eight in a row, or closer. The
sheer repetition of these sightings is better than having them
thinly spread throughout the area.

This could be accomplished with as few as 15-20 people in
most major cities. Of course, we would like to enlist more,
and will, but it doesn't take but a few dedicated people to get
the job done. Immediately after the sign campaign we could
schedule a Pat Rally and family BBQ at a local park.

We could call this ANTI-TWEEDLE DEE AND TWEEDLE
DUMB RALLY or some very positive message "An Authentic
American Patriot".

Support Material

* Plenty of signs and sticks.
* Publicity/Media Chairman.
* Central Office to take phone calls.
* 8-10 Team Captains for each city.
* Decorate automobiles with Pat signs - Red White and Blue
Banner, etc.
* Automobile cavalcade to park rally
* Plenty of brochure handouts.

Any further recommendations, suggestions for the title for the
day of the crusade will be appreciated.

Sincerely,

MISSOURIANS FOR BUCHANAN

Don R. Griffin
State Chairman
