"Sound Update Version" Production Locale Report

A visit from Watanabe Shigeru, President of Bandai Visual. This film has great personal significance to him as well as the production staff, and he looks as if he could watch it intently any number of times.

By sheer coincidence, it turned out that a highly popular singer-impersonation series aired was scheduled for recording on this same day. The big hall was full of people all day long.

Sound mastering was going along just fine, and all of a sudden, Yamaga was trading smiles with audio director Tashiro...

Audio Director Tashiro on the phone. Those in the know will already be aware that he was the model for the character of Captain Tashiro in the OVA "Top o Nerae!".

The work at last reaches the halfway point, and the staff are starting to look a little peaked...

Today Yamaga met with the press, describing animatedly the objectives and highlights of the reproduction.

"The Royal Space Force" is undergoing both Dolby Digital and Dolby SR recording. Comparing this phonograph with the previous one will give you an idea of the progress of history.

The work is going smashingly. Here, Yamaga and Nagura are listening to a very rare engine-driven phonograph which Tashiro brought over during a break.
