World o'Fanfic

Tedious update-type thingie

As some of you have commented, it's been, er, quite a while since I've updated
my page. It's like this. I've been dealing with a serious family matter
and, well, let's just say that my priorities got a good old shake,
and for the time being fanfic is not merely in the back seat,
it's in a little red wagon tied to my rear bumper. But stay tuned, 'kay?
thanks.

Let's get the "please don't sue me" formalities out of the way first. These stories are for entertainment purposes only. No copyright infringement is intended, and no profit is being made. Read my stories. Enjoy them. Tell me what you think. If you want to print out a copy for yourself, or to give to a friend, just keep all the headers attached and make it clear where you got it and I'll be happy.

However, please keep in mind that no story posted here is to be posted elsewhere on the internet, or in any other media, unless I give specific permission. Bad Things will happen to any people who do this. They will be pursued by Furies. Their hair will fall out in clumps. Their presence will cause small children to weep and cute little animals to hide under the nearest bed. Large animals will immediately attack. In other words, Bad Things will happen. Don't mess with the Adoratrice, kids. I ain't divine for nothing.

The wallpaper (all together now: "Awwww, bunnies in a row!") is of my own design.  It's based on Albrecht Durer's "Young Hare" -- see, even the Old Masters understood bunny love.

Due South

How do you feel about Mounties? Chicago cops with lovely eyes? If you like them as much as I do, try my Due South fiction.

The Sentinel

Then there are buff cops with touchy-feely senses, accompanied by adorable anthropologists. Check out my Sentinel fiction.  Updated November 2000 -- yeppers, the Jungle Book has arrived on the Net!

The Tick

What can I say?  I think Arthur and the Tick make a very cute couple.  Take a look at the brand new Tick fiction page, if you dare. Please note: this is a work in progress, to be added to whenever I get to feeling a bit... odd.  Page added October 31, 1999.

If you want more of my nattering on, I'll occasionally be sharing some of my thoughts on slash, and probably getting myself into all kinds of trouble. Latest natter -- October 31, 1999.

Searching for enlightenment? Wondering about bunnies? Or just curious about the sequel to "The Jungle Book"? Head on over to the not terribly recently updated Frequently Asked Questions.

Or if you'd rather have something to read that doesn't have an off switch, check out the Adoratrice's Book Nook. updated October 31, 1999

Because I'm just egotistical enough to think that anyone cares about what sites I visit, here's a brand new links page. Updated October 31, 1999.

I've recently unsubbed from SXF -- click here for an explanation.

And, after all the requests and questions, I've finally bowed to the inevitable... yes, I've put up a guestbook again.  Just try to be nice to it this time, eh?

Are any of you sick of the apologies yet?

I know, believe me, I know how far behind I am on answering all of your kind comments. I'm doing my best, really... please be patient and know that even when I don't answer, I definitely appreciate all the nice things you folks say about me.

My credo:

It's lovely to know the world can't interfere with the inside of your head.
