NBA Live 2000
Review

The Nintendo 64 version of this long-running franchise is long on gameplay but short on extras
The biggest stars and their best moves are in the game.
Whether due to the limitations of the cartridge format or the perceived demographics of the system's owners, the Nintendo 64 version of NBA Live 2000 is lacking many of the features found in its PlayStation and PC counterparts. The gameplay remains top-notch, and the graphics are more than acceptable, but if you have a choice, you'll want to check out the other versions. Most notably missing are the Legends of the game (a collection of 50 stars from the 1950s through the 1990s), a dispersal draft, and any hint of a career mode. That said, those who only have a N64 at their disposal will be hard-pressed to find a better b-ball game for the system.

If you make a particularly nice move, you can check out your stylin' skills with an instant replay.

The game may not have as many features as other versions, but the play control is tight and fun.
