 The site is going great! The forums are alive with great people, the resources and tutorials are slowly coming in and I will be adding all of your submissions to the site shortly. It's been a busy week for me, so I haven't had the time to do all the work on dream.in.code that I want to. For those of you who don't know, I'm also a web developer at a local web firm so I don't have as much time as I'd like to work on the site, but be patient, your stuff will be added.

A couple days ago there was a large amount of downtime at the place where the dream.in.code forums were hosted. Since that time we have moved the forums to a new host! BlueZebra has the speed and realiability that we need for the forums. If you want to check them out goto: www.bluezebrahosting.com

I've gotten the Tutorials, Resources, and Scripts sections of the site setup (they aren't running on PHP yet, but I need something to give you guys until I can figure out these stupid scripts.) There is no content yet, so please submit your links, tutorials, etc. to skyhawk@dreamincode.net

Also, our very own Glutnix is going to run the "hour.of.flash" right here at dream.in.code! This is a very fun activity for anyone, see what you can do in an hour! For more information visit the forums or click here.

The master plan: dream.in.code will soon be powered by MySQL and PHP. I am working on implementing a "Portal System" where users may add news, articles, tutorials, links, etc. etc. This will make it much eaiser on me, and much better for visitors because they will be able to customize the pages so they only see their areas of interest. This system will not be up and working for about a week, so until then everyone just sit back and enjoy the board. I'm not doing content twice

Until then the site will remain in it's boring v1.3 state, after the MySQL upgrade we'll goto version 2.0 and everything will be rolling... we'll be the next FlashKit!

Flash footers are now available in the forum, many of our members have asked to enable this feature and thanks to the nice people at dockingport.com, you are now able to post small flash movies in your footer. Be creative, show off your skills. Here's mine:
The new board is now up and running, still making changes but get your butt in there and post just click on the forums button at the top or select which forum you wanna see on the left. If you are one of the first 50 people to register, you'll get your own custom title, not just the boring <newbie.coder> one. I'll be looking for moderators as well, so in the next week or 2, if you are interested let me know and we'll talk about it.

This was the original insiration for dream.in.code! One of my first ever graphic design pieces, this background became an instant hit with the web development community. What does everyone think of a dream.in.code t-shirt? The dream.in.code thing seems pretty popular and it's a pretty cool concept. Why not wear something that says... Hey I'm a geeky web developer or programmer.
