Program
is Designed to Benefit Partners and Extend Sygate Technologies’
Mobile Enterprise Networking Solutions into a Broader Marketplace
ATLANTA,
Georgia – (NetWorld+Interop, Booth #4973) – September 27,
2000 – Sygate Technologies, Inc. (formerly Sybergen
Networks), a leading provider of Internet security and access
management solutions for the mobile enterprise generation,
announced today the launch of a new partner program, Sygate
Connect™. The new Sygate Connect partner program was
created to establish loyal, sustainable partnerships with
companies that share Sygate Technologies’ vision and business
focus. The program is anticipated to expand Sygate’s ability
to successfully deliver Internet security and access management
solutions to the channel and the marketplace at large.
Benefits of the program to partners include appealing margins,
reduced sales cycles and increased opportunities for partners
to enhance their existing sales of complementary networking
equipment and services.
The
Sygate Connect program is comprised of several partner program
components targeted at different types of solution providers,
including OEMs, distributors, system integrators, retailers,
resellers, value-added resellers (VARs), consulting solutions
providers, managed security providers, affiliates and ISP
affiliates.
Sygate
Technologies, Inc. already has a number of significant partners.
Distribution partners in North America include Acer, Best
Buy, CompUSA, Fry’s Electronics, Ingram Micro, Navarre and
Tech Data. The company has successful OEM relationships
in place with Asante, Actiontec Electronics, Cisco, Linksys,
Samsung, SOHOware and Zoom Telephonics. Current strategic
partners include Intersil, and Micro Information Centers.
Additionally, with the help of over 1,500 registered resellers,

of two million users of its flagship product, Sygate Home
NetworkTM (formerly SyGate© for Home Office)
in more than 30 countries worldwide.
