Company's Founder, Chris Guo to Continue with Sygate Technologies as Chief Technology Officer

(formerly Sybergen Networks, Inc.), a leading provider of Internet security and access management solutions for the mobile generation, today announced the appointment of John De Santis to the position of president and chief executive officer.

Mr. De Santis will be responsible for charting the company's strategic direction and promoting the development of innovative software technology that provides effortless, seamless and secure connectivity for the mobile enterprise. He will work closely with the executive management team to leverage the company's past successes, and establish Sygate Technologies, Inc. as the leading provider of solutions that help to manage the unique networking needs of the new mobile enterprise.

De Santis brings a wealth of high-tech management experience to Sygate Technologies, Inc. His 22 year-long career includes experience in sales, marketing and general management at start-ups as well as large international public companies. Prior to joining Sygate, De Santis was senior vice president, Sales and Marketing for Network Computing Devices, where he was responsible for all worldwide sales, marketing and service operations. Previously he held positions as vice president of both European Operations and International Sales at Cincinnati Bell. He has also held management positions at Data Switch Corp. De Santis has extensive experience in multinational direct sales and sales channel management, large project management, software development, and general management in the telecommunications and IT fields. John has a BA in Philosophy and Mathematics from Fairfield University, and has completed postgraduate work at Stanford University.

The company's founder, Chris Guo, will assume the position of chief technology officer, and will focus on technology and product development, the company's product roadmap and strategies that support Sygate Technologies' vision and focus on the mobile enterprise.
