I've recently started listening to Merrill Schindler's radio ahow on week-ends. Not sure what to make of his recommendations yet. Is he a serious food critic or just restaurant reviewer. Never been to Buca di Beppo but not sure if I want to eat at a restaurant just because the portions are "gargantuan" and because he "licks the plate clean". Any opinions on whether to trust his taste would be welcome,
