What a great time it must have been. Having never tried Jay Bee's, that will be my next BBQ stop. What this DOES do is bring up candidates for round 2, and I'll list off a few:
Chicago For Ribs
Houston's
Tulsa Rib Company
Dr. Hogly Woggly's Tyler Texas BBQ
Wood Ranch BBQ
Not to be biased, but one of the above is my all-time favorite, at least of those I HAVE tried.
 
Bravo to all who attended and survived round 1...how long 'til the next one?
