I've had the exact same experience the one time I dined there. Beautiful room, merely decent service and oh so forgettalbe food. Skip this continental place and if you're craving very well prepared bistro food, head to Mimosa. The decor may be underwhelming, but the french bistro food is honest and the best I've had in L.A., although their charcuterie platter is weak.
