I have to say I don't know of many late night anything in L.A., much less French restaurants/bistros. Maybe I just go to bed too early. I like Bouchon on Melrose, about a block east of Fairfax. It's moderately priced and reminds me of restaurants that I went to in Paris. Unfortunately, it's only serves until 10pm weekdays and 11pm weekends. Also, La Poubelle on Franklin is good. I'm not sure how late they're open. But they might be open later.
