I finally stopped in to this little bakery, I was excited to find a "local" bakery, sort of like the ones of days gone by before supermarkets had huge ones. This place was cute. It looks like they do a lot of supplying to restaurants as the retail space is not impressive but the kitchen takes up most of the space they lease. I had an apple bran muffin this morning that was just so-so. The flaker pastries (crossiants, pastries, etc), and cookies looked good. Has anyone had anything from here that was good? They advertised some lunch quiches too.
 
It's right next door to Stevie Joe's Supper Club (where the old Fratello's used to be) across from Hu's (not sure of the cross Street of National near Motor).
 
Has anyone been to Stevie Joes Supper Club? Nothing seems to last in that mini-mall.
 
Any experiences with either the bakery or Stevie Joes?
