Getting back to boba...
the ubiquitous lollicup has boba, but I actually like
the other drinks better. the egg tofu drink (with
tea if hot), and the sour plum drink.
The sour plum drink and the almond flavored drink
at I-Mei has gotta be the most intensely flavored
I've had though. Its on Atlantic in Monterey Park
in a small shopping mall on the east side
3-4 blocks past NBC seafood. The drinks are not
on the menu, but self-serve in the frig on the
side. They've also got the best Northern Chinese
breakfast (savory soy milk and you tiao) outside
of Rowland Heights.
