I recently moved here and have found several good places to eat. There are plenty of chain restaurants like Applebees, Claim Jumpers, TGI Fridays etc, I haven't listed those restaurants. If you want a list of those, I'd be happy to give them to you.
 
Wild Thyme - 25910 The Old Road, Stevenson Ranch - Good assortment of soups, sandwiches, pastas, pizzas and entrees. They also have several types of crepes.
 
Don Cuco's - 24130 W Lyons Ave, Newhall - mexican food
 
Mimi's Cafe - 24201 Magic Mountain Parkway Valencia - assorted sandwiches, entrees pasta. The roasted chicken and pork roast here were very good
 
Vines - in the Hyatt at 24500 Town Center Drive Valencia, more upscale
 
Elbasha Greek Restaurant - greek food, not expensive, 25810 Hemingway Ave, Stevenson Ranch
 
One place I would avoid is Salt Creek Grille at the Valencia town Center - upscale steak-house type place, very overpriced for mediocre food
