Every time I went to Joshua Tree or Palm Springs, I would stop at Cha Cha's (a little taco/burrito stand) off California and Redlands Ave. I think there are two or three establishments in the immediate area surrounding Redlands College.
 
I loved those "Gringo Burritos!" I don't know why, but the tortillas they use were heavenly! It was always such a perfect place to stop and eat. (I confess, I drove out there, once, JUST for lunch.)
 
Questions: is it still that good? I'd love to go back, but fear that the consistency is no longer. are there any places closer (to the Westside, or Los Angeles) that are similar...or better?
