actually s. irene blah blah blah reviewed it in the times in 1996 or 95 if i'm not mistaken. so this is the 2nd time she's reviewing it. got to it before asimov.
 
anyways, i'm pretty sure she's in the mindset that if the place is very expensive then it is very good. hence $300 per person and she gave it the highest rating 4 stars -she didn't give that rating to any other restaurant in LA.
