The other Oki-Dog that J. Gold writes about is on Pico.
You need to go to Manuel's/El Tepeyac at Brooklyn & Evergreen in East L.A. and have a Hollenbeck Burrito. Cassel's, 6th & New Hampshire, for a big meat and bun only burger and maybe some of the potato salad. Zankou Chicken, various locations, including Sunset & Normandie, for chicken with garlic sauce. Phillipe's on Alameda for a beef/lamb/pork dip with a glass of Silver Oak. Chow!
