Message: | I have eaten at the Souplantation, when I was in college, broke, and hungry!! and they would have 2 for 1 coupons. It was a good deal, and it is healthy compared to fast food, but, I found the soups salty and commercial tasting, same for the salad dressings. Not what I consider "Homemade" tasting. As for fresh fruits and vegetables, The fruit, melons etc were often hard ,unripe, and flavorless. The vegetables were the usual suspects, spinach, romaine, brocoli, carrots, nothing outstanding and most with the flavor of having been pre cut and stored in plastic for a while. As an ex vegetarian and farmers market addict I adore my fruits and vegies, but I wouldnt go back to Souplantation to get them, so to each their own. :-) However what we do agree on is that the new Father's Office burger seems both intriging and annoying. It was a wonderful bar esp. on weeknights, very cozy, now a bit LOUD. |
