I have heard of "Little India" in Artesia, which I'm sure has some excellent and varied Indian food. I haven't been there yet, though. My favorite Indian restaurant is Mayur in Corona Del Mar. Doesn't compare to the Indian food in Boston/Cambridge, but it's still pretty good... Natraj in Laguna Hills has a HUGE buffet and everything is quite good, although I prefer Mayur. Clay Oven in Irvine isn't very good, but will do in a pinch.
