There is an amazing new little French market that just opened across the street from where I work on El Centro in South Pasadena. Foi Gras, dozens of perfect cheeses, duch confit, you name it, it is there. And best of all, the owner makes her own sandwiches at lunch time on fresh bagettes (sp?). I'm addicted to the pate sandwich, which is a steal for $3.95. Go there and make sure she stays in business forever. Or at least until the freeway destroys the neighborhood.
