I've been calling around and thought I'd give you the heads up if you were looking for a place in/around Westwood. Napa Valley Grille is offering a three-course dinner menu, champagne toasts, and jazz band for Monday. Items to choose from include Lobster Soup, Seared Foie Gras, Ahi and Persimmon Carpaccio, Spiced Pecan Rack of Lamb, Sauteed John Dory, Cabernet Braised Beef Shortribs, Horseradish Crusted Chilean Seabass, Flourless Chocolate Cake, and Spiced Apple Papillote. Mmmm! I've eaten here several times and have enjoyed the food, wine, and ambience. I'm sure the New Year's menu will be just as wonderful.
