I tried Bice Mercato a few weekends back. The swordfish special I had was mediocre and certainly not worth the $19.95 or more they charged. However, the pasta special that night had a bolognese meat sauce and was definitely tasty. My friend seemed to enjoy her steak and mashed potatoes as well, and all of us rather enjoyed the drinks the bartender shook and stirred for us, not to mention the desserts (gelato and a chocolate cake of some sort). But until some of the other restaurants open, I don't think I'll be heading over to Hollywood and Highland anytime soon (tourist trap!!!). There's a closer Johnny Rockets and better retail stores in my neck of the LA woods. Oh yeah, and they rape you with the parking if you don't get your ticket validated.
