Message: | Kudos to Thi and the rest of the LA Chowteam for putting out a wonderful first issue of the LA Chownews. This really was chock full of great ideas, and a superb way to organize all of the disparate Chowhound postings. It's well worth whatever they are charging for it, and I hope other LA hounds will subscribe. My only fear is that it's too good - will it make people visit the boards less frequently? I hope not. Wonderful addition to my life though.
Idea to Jim - you may want to put in a link in the email that says "NOT A CHOWNEWS SUBSCRIBER YET? CLICK HERE TO SUBSCRIBE AND GET CHOWNEWS EVERY MONTH". This for people who may have had the chownews forwarded to them by a friend over e-mail (not to encourage piracy, but getting the occasional sample issue to people might make them more likely to buy.) |
