I discovered the place on Beverly about six years ago, when I moved to Echo Park. It has not been called Western Bagel since then that I know of; the sign outside just says Bagel Factory. But I could be missing a small logo in the window or something. Anyway, the bagels there are still good and authentic, as witnessed by the fact that they're hard as a rock a couple of days later -- thus, not jam-packed with preservatives.
