If you need a special cake, at whatever bakery, be sure to ask what they can make to order. Usually they have a catalogue.
If you work in Westwood, take a look at Parisian Pastry at Ohio and Westwood. They have a catalogue of party cakes and decorations they make to order.
Hansen's Cakes on Fairfax does party cakes. Give them a call.
Last, I remember that KCRW used to get their party cakes from a bakery on Robertson. They would decorate the cake with a business logo, or photo based design, whatever. Can't remember the name but I'm sure someone at the station can tell you the name of the bakery.
