You're not racist, just a bit sheltered. Start getting out more. If it helps, bear in mind that black people are extremely accustomed to seeing white people, so the novelty is very not mutual. You're not visiting, like, Zaire, with kids flocking around you.
 
Really, no reason to be uptight. Enjoy your fellow bipeds of whatever hue. At age 29, you're overdue to open your vistas a bit. Next step: blues club. Hint: don't order gimlets.
 
Oh, and black people are also accustomed to seeing nice cars. Many even own one.
