I beg to differ with you on Kamal Palace lunch buffet. It will satisfy a craving in a pinch, but there's nothing outstanding about the selections or quality. It's a nice setting, though, in Marina Pacifica. If you're willing to drive just a bit farther south, try Bukhara on Edinger, just west of Beach, in Huntington Beach. IMHO it is far superior in quality. It's a small mom'n'pop, and I've never been disappointed. There's another Indian restaurant, called Naraj (I think) on 2nd St in Belmont Shore that has a good rep. Haven't tried it yet, though.
