Here's a few rec's for the Thousand Oaks area..

Fast and easy

Manny's (Newbury Park, T.O., Agoura) - Taco stand-level mexican chain, great if you're in a rush.

Catch 21 (T.O. on Lindero Canyon & T.O Blvd) - Fast seafood and bbq. Nice selection, fresh.

Delisei's (T.O.) - Italian deli. Pastrami sandwiches are to die for.

Sit-down

Baducco's Deli (Westlake) - Great italian deli/market/restraunt. Hot sandwiches and Pasta dishes recommended. If you want a nicer environment (waiters etc), try the Moorpark restraunt.

Shiraz Gardens (Westlake) - Also called California Chicken Trattoria. Persian food mostly, their kabobs are excellent! Very nice location, in an office park with a fountain running through it.

Ozeki (Camarillo) - Best sushi spot I've been to between Santa Barbara and the Valley. Always packed.

Exotic Thai Cafe (Newbury Park, T.O.) - Good thai restraunt chain. Not phenomenal, but for the area it's quality.

Though a few have recommended Wood Ranch, personally I find it one of the worst steak house chain's I've eaten at. Bland meat and flavorless sauces. If you're in the mood for bbq, I'd recommend Bandit's BBQ in T.O., or better yet, a great little gem in Camarillo adjacent to the bowling alley. I forget the name, but it was a pleasant surprise, and their Turbo sauce hit the spot. I'd eat at Outback Steakhouse before going back to Wood Ranch any day. Yuk.

I do second the in-n-out recommendation if you've never been. By far the best fast-food burger you'll ever have.
