Just had amazing carpaccio with fresh arugala, really good quality shaved parmesean and vinegarette at
I Cugini. Unfortunately for you, it's in Santa Monica. But if you're ever on the West Side give it a try. Also, they have a happy hour from 3p-6pm weeknights and it's on the list of appetizers. As well as this, great polenta in a sinfully rich cheese sauce served in a small skillet was on the menu. So good and affordable.
