Tried my first bubble tea (boba, pearl tea, milk tea, bubble drink, zhen zhu nai cha) tonight at CJ's Cafe. I had green apple and husband had mango. We enjoyed it very much but could have done without the tapioca balls. Cj's doesn't have much ambiance but it's fine and close by to where we live. We walked over to Relaxation (Relaxstation, whatever it is) and it looked a little prettier in there and there was no loud music.
 
So I'm wondering if it would be totally tacky to order one without the bobo (pearls)?
