I have eaten there a few times with a friend who lived in the neighborhood and liked to celebrate special occassions there (wedding rehearsal dinner, 35th birthday, etc). The food is quite enjoyable, and the atmosphere is really warm and romantic, with low lighting and twinkly lights and a variety of different spaces (e.g., some California garden-like in the rear, and more formal and Italian-feeling toward the front). The staff is friendly, and it has a nice local feel to it.
