Josie's, (2424 Pico, Santa Monica), although I hear they are booked up two weeks in advance, (but that may just be for more popular nights/prime dining hours?).
 
My business partner loves La Cachette. I like it too, but find the service to be a bit on the formal and or snooty side at times. I also always have a hard time spotting it on little SM Blvd.,(about a block and half west of Beverly Glen?). Seems like I have to drive by once and then go back.
 
Wherever you go have a wonderful, magical, memorable 1st Anniversary. I will always remember ours, we drank a lot of champagne and started our (now) 13 year old son that night. :)
