Message: | For a really special evening, there is the Hobbit, which I think is in Fullerton. Prix fixe, one seating, four or five courses, starting with champagne and hors d'oeuvres in the wine cellar (where you choose the wine to go with your meal). Dinner is the event, and takes the entire leisurely evening. Menu is seasonal. The Hobbit is an old house, and each room has its own charm. Advance reservations are a must. Each of the three experiences I've had there have been exceptional. There is a "breather" just before the main course when diners have a chance to explore the house, and visit the kitchen and the chef. Lots of fun! |
