It is going to become a high-end day-spa like Burke Williams at 8000 Sunset, Santa Monica, etc. As to the name Spanish Kitchen, the applicants that have posted the ABC license on the former Shark Bar on North La Cienega have indicated that they will be using that name when they open for business, whether serving Spanish or Mexican food, or just using an old name with much lore. The Jewish temples in the area protested any alcoholic licensing for the property and hence the different leasing effort. And with El Coyote taking all the parking within 5 blocks, what restaurant would want to be there?
