Subject:     Dinner near Shubert Theater..on a week night

I would like some chowhound advice on Dinner near Century City, or Westwood prior to going to see "Kiss Me Kate" at the Shubert in Century City? American, Italian, Asian, it's all good! My wife and I like nice decor, but she and I would avoid trendy at all costs!
 
As an example we live in Woodland Hills, and find P.F. Changs decent, (but waits are way too long!),we frequent Cheesecake Factory, Gaucho Grill, Fin's-Calabasis, nothing too trendy, mostly neighborhood solid places that we usually know are consistant.
 
My wife loves good seafood, so that would be a plus!
 
Any recommendations would be appreciated!
