Message: | La Golondrina is one of my favorite Mexican places in LA. On a sunny saturday afternoon, my wife and I will take the Metro to Union Station and cross over to Olvera Street. We recieve a warm welcome everytime we arrive. The service is excellent. The food a cut above most. They have great homemade tortillas. Flour or corn. I usually don't care for flour tortillas but the homemade ones here are exceptional. Almost like an Indian Naan. Puffy with just the right amount of burn marks. We love sitting on the patio, watching all the people, lingering into the late afternoon over a pitcher of margaritas, or two, without ever feeling rushed. |
