Great idea! But my experience is that rib joints are usually inconsistent eateries. As compared to say places like Golden Deli (for eggrolls) or Pho Hoa (for pho) where the food is 99%, 99 per cent of the time.
 
I am in Hollywood and could play host (after I check with the missus) as long as the committee is not too huge.
 
Anyone remember "Dabs" ribs at Santa Monica Blvd & Ridgewood Place in Hollywood years ago?
