We have a place, we have a time, provisionally.
The place is Elisha's, which is in midtown LA. Since this is a private residence, I'll be disclosing the address only via e-mail, to those who respond.
The time is the Thursday after Labor Day, which I think is the 6th. Of September. At 7:30 in the PM.
Those wishing to come will be coralled into grabbing some barbecue.

Specify a place that you'd like to pick barbecue up from. I'll tell you if there's a repeat. Also, we'll need some absolutely new, untried places. We'll need volunteers to cruise BBQ-intensive areas and pick them.
Also tell me if you really, terribly, deeply want to come, but absolutely can't make it. Since this is one of those once-in-a-lifetime never-to-be-repeated will-regret-it-until-you-die-and-after-if-there-happens-to-be-an-afterlife-without-BBQ (better barbecue in heaven or hell?), I just might consider trying to move it if the vast majority who want to come can't make it.
But probably not.
