LONGEVITY. STABILITY.
COMMITMENT TO NEW TECHNOLOGY. TOP-SELLING GAMES. THAT IS KEMCO.
Developing games is serious business, and KEMCO has been doing it successfully
for nearly 17 years.
KEMCO (Kotobuki System Co., Ltd.) was established in 1984 as one of Kotobuki
Engineering & Manufacturing Co., Ltd's subsidiary companies.
One of the original Nintendo licensees, in 1985 KEMCO began to develop
games for the Nintendo Entertainment System. The company has never looked
back.
KEMCO has produced over 100 titles for various platforms and markets,
including the highly popular Top Gear racing series. KEMCO has also built
a solid 12-year licensee relationship with Warner Bros. and DC Comics.
These agreements have resulted in over a million sales worldwide of the
Bugs BunnyTM Crazy Castle series alone.
KEMCO has produced popular titles worldwide for the NES, Super NES, Game
Boy, Game Boy Color, Nintendo 64, Microsoft Xbox, PlayStation® game
console and PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system.
KEMCO enjoys productive relationships with all the major hardware manufacturers
and makes a point of joining in the early stages of software development
as new platforms are introduced. Currently, KEMCO's development teams
are creating games for Nintendo Game Boy Advance, Nintendo GameCube, PlayStation®2
and Microsoft Xbox.
With the establishment of KEMCO U.S.A., INC. in 2001, the first wholly
owned subsidiary of KEMCO of Japan, the company is now able to more efficiently
reach retailers and launch its products in the U.S. market.
